Terms of service
1. Agreement
By creating an account on upstand.ai (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. The Service is provided by Future of X ("we", "us"). If you're using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for the activity in your workspace. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You won't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, or attempt to circumvent our security controls. You're responsible for ensuring meeting participants are aware recording and transcription is happening, where applicable in your jurisdiction.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of all content you upload or that the Service captures on your behalf (transcripts, notes, action items). We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export and delete your data at any time.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may make changes, add features, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time.
6. Subscriptions & payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel from your workspace billing settings at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not refund prorated amounts.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination we'll delete your data within 90 days unless legally required to retain it.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be emailed to registered users. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
